As a family, we have been fortunate enough to have been farming this land since the 1890s, in a way that we hope will prove sustainable for future generations.
Over this period of time, we have planted trees & hedges, had Limousin & Lincoln Red cattle graze the grassland and grown arable crops, allowing us to maintain a traditional mixed farming system.
To help enhance the environment, the farm is part of the Government’s Countryside Stewardship Scheme as well as the Woodland Management Scheme.
The arable land grows crops such as malting barley, oilseed rape, spring beans (for human consumption) and wheat for animal feed & seed production. To help sustain the soil for future generations, we have adopted a cultivation system within our fields.
Since 2020, we have diversified our family run farm to offer Self Catering Accommodation and Secluded Campervan Pitches and for your ultimate staycation with country views and surrounded by abundant wildlife, in the peace and serenity of the Lincolnshire Wolds.
