Wykeham Hall is a 15 minute drive from both the villages of Market Rasen and Louth. There is a good choice of local pubs and village shops as well as larger retailers. The local area boasts a variety of attractions and activities; market towns, walking and cycling trails, fishing, nature reserves, golf courses, seaside towns and even Lincoln itself with its spectacular cathedral is only a 40 minute drive away.
Why not look up Visit Lincolnshire for comprehensive and up-to-date information.
Walking
Wykeham Hall is set in the heart of the beautiful Lincolnshire Wolds, classified as an area of outstanding natural beauty. As such, there are many wonderful walks to enjoy.
The Viking Way, 147 miles long between the Humber Bridge and Oakham in Rutland, goes through our farm if you fancy walking a section of it.
There is also a lovely 7 mile walk from Wykeham called a Walk on the Wild Side (not sure why!), and many more which will be included in your welcome pack!
Cycling
A web of small roads allow you to plan some wonderful trips around the villages of the Lincolnshire Wolds. Alternatively, look up sustrans.org.uk to look up nearby routes of the national cycle network. If you need an incentive to get on your bike, there are a few villages that have pubs that you can cycle to too!
